Opened in 2014, Bowery Bungalow brings a creative and unconventional take on Mideast cuisine, pulling from North African, Lebanese, and Israeli flavors. Housed in a charming 1920’s craftsman cottage with wood paneling, exposed brick and an equally charming patio decked out lush greenery.

The menu is divided into vegetables, fish, and meats. Highlights include the “Couscous Royale” served with Moroccan couscous, chickpeas, fruits and vegetables, dried fruit and nut, and saffron, the “Honey-Glazed Savory Lamb Shank” served with spicy broth, barley, chick peas, and Pho finishings, and the “Lamb Kofta” wrapped in joha santa with mole negra, and herbaceous freekah.
