the spot.
The sensation behind Mother Wolf, Felix Trattoria, and most recently an episode of the Netflix hit, “Chef’s Table”, Evan Funke has opened his namesake in the heart of Beverly Hills. The multi story level art deco building was designed in partnership with Chef Funke, co-owner Kurt Rappaport, designer Clint Nicholas, and architect Dan Brunn. The self proclaimed heart of the restaurant is the 20 foot tall pasta lab, a central enclosed glass and polished chrome working space where the magic happens. All aspects of the restaurant seem to be thoroughly and expertly curated, from the menus, dining spaces, and to the gorgeous roof top patio, all reminiscent of an Italian summer escape.
the menu.
An innovative approach to classic Italian cuisine, Funke’s menu items range from appetizers and salads, pizzas, pastas, and a handful of mains. (Staying true to the Italian summer escape feel, the menu is in Italian so discreetly have your google translate ready.)
