The Spot.
Chic-beachy getaway on iconic Abbott Kinney Blvd. As founder and creative director, Heather Tierney describes the feel of her shop, it's a pretty, refreshing take on an old-world butcher shop. The dichotomy of using industrial elements such as concrete floors, steel metal hooks etc, against softer, earthy materials like beached raw wood, white brick, and greenery, give it a blend of masculine and feminine energy, welcoming everyone to the experience.
The Menu.
Though the name has butcher in it, there’s no meat on this menu. 100% vegetarian with many vegan and gluten free options in addition. Highlights include:
Pesto Ballerina - Chipotle mushrooms served with pepita pesto cream and parmesan.
Beet ‘Pepperoni’ Pizza - Served with marinara, mozzarella, house beet ‘pepperoni’, hot honey, and fresh oregano.
Cauliflower Cacio E Pepe - Roasted cauliflower served with black pepper, and pecorino butter sauce.
Butcher’s Mushroom, Quinoa, and Beet Burger - Served with secret sauce, gem lettuce, gruyere, tomato, charred onions, and potatoes.
