The Spot.

This landmark restaurant was the caretaker's cottage of the original Raymond Hotel, built in 1886, and frequented hot spot by celebrities of that time. Though the hotel has long since been gone, the cottage still stands as a casual fine dining South Pasadena destination restaurant. Enjoy a turn of the century cottage feel inside, or a breezy and romantic feel on one of their 3 patios.

The Menu.

Seasonally changing, classic New American cuisine and specialty cocktails from the Bar 1886 program, menu highlights include:

Wagyu Filet Mignon - A 6 oz Australian A9 Wagyu and your choice of peppercorn or chimichurri sauce.

Mediterranean Branzino - Pan seared branzino, served with bilbao chorizo roasted cherry tomatoes over turnip puree

Drama Club Cocktail - Made with buffalo trace bourbon, alma tepec, apricot, demerara, and tikibitters.

Woody Woodpecker - Made with vida mezcal, cedar wood syrup, peychaud bitters, and angostura bitters.
