The Spot.

Charming and quaint neighborhood restaurant, 1911 craftsman style bungalow converted into a restaurant with chef-driven cuisine. With a desire to offer a great ‘foodie’ option on the Eastside to rival neighborhoods like Silverlake, husband and wife team Deborah Schwartz-Lowenthal and Chef Sean Lowenthal opened up Little Beast in 2014.

A small front porch with a few tables creates a charming at home feel, with an additional much larger backyard patio under string lights. Great for romantic dinners and also family/kid friendly.

Live music every Wednesday night on their back patio, with two featured artists and a curated menu of food and beverage pairings to share.

The Menu.

Progressive American comfort food, the seasonal menu does change but will always include a solid mix of southern staples and classic dishes. Menu highlights include:

Artisan Cheese Board - Chef selection of cheese, pickles, membrillo, fruit, nuts served with warm house bread.

Linguine Alla Nerano -  Served with zucchini, poblano, leeks, basil-pepita pesto.

Grilled Flat Iron Steak -Served with grilled asparagus, potato terrine, worcestershire, and mushroom cognac sauce.

Pan Seared Branzino - Served with caramelized beets, flat beans, red onion, swiss chard-citrus vinaigrette, white bean purée.
