The Spot.
Not a lot of good came out of the pandemic, but Carla Cafe was most definitely one of them. It all started with an Instagram post of a sandwich Avi Ahdoot had made for his girlfriend in May 2020. With stay at home orders in full swing, people at home on their phones with no new restaurants to check out, the picture went viral instantly and with no restaurant experience at all, Avi went from selling sandwiches to friends from his house, to opening up this brick and mortar on 3rd street in the heart of Beverly Grove.
The Menu.
What started as DMing your order has now branched out to online ordering via website, fulfilled at the restaurant for pickup. Everything can be customized with their offerings of salads, sandwiches and wraps. Menu Highlights include:
Tuna Chop - Served with your choice of protein, avocado, chopped salad lettuce, tomato, red onion, cucumber, garbanzo beans, pepperoncini, jalapeño, red wine vinaigrette, yellow mustard, and garlic-basil aioli.
Ranchero Burrito - Flour tortilla, black beans, cheesy scrambled eggs, chopped roasted poblano peppers, ranchero sauce, melted Oaxacan cheese, and avocado
Garlic Aioli Chicken -Garlic aioli, choice of protein, avocado, tomato, arugula, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and shaved Parmesan cheese on ciabatta

Open 7am-4pm daily, the brick and mortar location is a charming spot to sit down and enjoy, however most patrons utilize the counter pickup option.
